Happy New Year Y'all!!  I hope you're excited to tackle some new goals with me. A quick market update for those of you who are considering buying or selling in 2023... While showings on homes decreased over the holiday season, they have significantly jumped this past week.  The first week of January had the most home showings since October (5,200ish).   Economist, Real Estate Experts, Freddie Mac and others predict mortgage rates to decrease slightly towards the end of the year, think high 5's. (5.7ish%) fingers crossed! However, the likelihood of them ever being in the 3's again are not realistic. Though, in comparison to where rate's were in the 90's, (8-9%) we're still sitting pretty at todays current rates , which are fluctuating  between  5.9%- 6.25% (varies based on credit score and down payment.)
